Secure AWS Infrastructure

Designed and deployed a secured Linux web environment on AWS using controlled network access, IAM permissions, key-based SSH, monitoring and security-focused configuration.

Problem

Stand up a Linux web server that could be reached securely, without leaving SSH or the application layer exposed by default.

Approach

Deployed on Amazon EC2 with key-based SSH, IAM roles and firewall rules. Installed and maintained a LAMP stack, then added basic monitoring for availability.

Outcome

A hardened, observable web host with least-privilege access and a clear operational baseline.
